New affordable homes for Eye Green

Posted on 02 September 2019

Local families are set to move into new affordable homes in Eye Green near Peterborough by Christmas.

The 35 new homes at Crowland Road will be available for affordable rent, are being built by Lodge Park and Medesham Homes, a joint venture of Cross Keys Homes and Peterborough City Council. A £875,000 grant from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority will support delivery of 25 of the homes.

Councillor Steve Allen, Peterborough City Council's Cabinet Member for Housing, said: “To be able to build a further 35 new homes through the Medesham Homes partnership is fantastic news.

“Medesham Homes is committed to building even more new homes throughout Peterborough, to ensure we address the need for new affordable rented homes and help residents find a place they can call home, at a price they can afford.”
