Cross Keys Homes, the Hyde Group, Sanctuary Group, Flagship Group, bpha, Clarion Housing Group, Longhurst Group and Catalyst have all featured in this year’s prestigious Inside Housing Top 50 Biggest Builders ranking, demonstrating Homes for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’s commitment to building much needed affordable homes for the region.
The housing associations featured in the following order:
Clarion Housing Group – 3rd
Sanctuary Group – 14th
The Hyde Group – 20th
Flagship Group – 29th
bpha – 37th
Longhurst Group – 43rd
Cross Keys Homes – 45th
Catalyst – 49th
The Hyde Group and Sanctuary Group also featured in the top 10 starts for 2020/21, with the Hyde Group commencing on 2,192 new homes and Sanctuary Group initiating 1,345.
Despite the challenges faced by the development and housing sector over the last 18 months Sanctuary Group, Flagship Group, Longhurst Group, Cross Keys Homes and the Hyde Group also featured in the top 50 for homes in the pipeline, highlighting their commitment to the future supply of affordable housing.
Homes for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’s chair, Claire Higgins, said: “Building homes for the future is a key objective for us and so it is great to see nine of our partners featuring in this prestigious list. We have a target to build 40,000 affordable homes across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough over the next 20 years and are determined to do all we can to deliver if not exceed this target by collectively building as many affordable homes as we can.”
